Incredible! This Bible page was found fused to steel after 9/11
After the 9/11 terrorist attack, many miracles emerged, including this amazing find. An unnamed firefighter discovered the Bible page fused to a piece of steel from the Twin Towers which came tumbling down in 2001.
See what the the Bible Passage Says...
The firefighter found this fragment of a rock in March, about 6 months after the attack, under the Tully Road, a temporary truck route that covered the last remnants of the south tower.
He called out to photographer Joel Meyerowitz, who happened to be in the area.
“This shredded, burned and rubble-covered Bible came to me from the loving hands of a fireman who knew that I was the record keeper of ground zero,” Mr. Meyerowitz said.“My astonishment at seeing the page that the Bible was open to made me realize that the Bible’s message survives throughout time, and in every era we interpret its teachings freshly, as the occasion demands.”
A passage from Jesus’ Sermon the Mount, from the Gospel of Matthew, was clearly readable:
“Retaliation.”
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
Of all the chapters and verses in the Bible, these are the ones that were perfectly preserved in rock. So, is it a message from God to us?
