A young bride was left widowed aged 22 after her groom died just 17 days after their wedding.
Steve Legge bravely smiled for the camera on his big day with beautiful bride Hannah.
The electrician, 22, had been told by doctors that there was nothing more they could do in his battle with head and neck cancer , the Birmingham Mail reported

But he was determined to marry the love of his life, so the couple moved their wedding forward by six months to spend their last few precious days together as husband and wife.
Tragically Steve died at Myton Hospice, Warwick, just 17 days later on December 20, leaving his new bride a widow at just 22-years-old.

“It was a perfect day, a little bit cold, but we had the Christmas decorations up and the fires and candles lit, which made the venue so cosy, warm and welcoming,” she recalled.
“I knew that the cancer would kill him, but I was determined not to let this illness take away the one thing that truly mattered to me in my life, as I couldn’t see myself without Steve.”
The couple tied the knot at Mallory Court Hotel, near to their home in Leamington Spa.
