Authorities suspect Antoine Denevi of heading a weapons trafficking ring that supplied arms to an Islamist militant.
The supermarket where Coulibaly killed four people
Spanish police have arrested a Frenchman who they believe supplied weapons to Amedy Coulibaly, who attacked a Paris supermarket last January.
Spain's Interior Ministry said Antoine Denive was arrested on Tuesday in a joint operation with French police in a town close to Malaga.
During the raid two other people wer
e detained, one from Serbia and and the other from Montenegro.
Authorities suspect the 27-year-old supplied the arms used by Islamist militant Coulibaly, who killed four Jews at a kosher grocery store before he was shot dead by police.
The day before the supermarket siege Coulibaly had killed a policewoman in Montrouge.

Denive is suspected of fleeing to France several weeks after the attack and making a base for himself in Malaga, where it is thought he continued his illegal arms dealing using false documents.
The High Court in Spain said Denive denied selling weapons to Coulibaly, but reports suggest he is willing to be extradited to France.
The attack on the supermarket happened a few days after two other gunmen shot 12 people at and near the offices of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in Paris.
Said and Cherif Kouachi forced their way into the building of the satirical publication with assault rifles before killing 11 people and injuring 11 more.
They also shot dead a police officer as they made off.
The brothers were killed by special forces during an assault on a printing factory just outside Paris where they had holed up.
