British Surfing Instructor Dies In Bali
Cameron Munro had been working in Portugal for some years
Cameron Munro, originally from Patchem near Brighton
in East Sussex, died last Saturday while out surfing.
Reports say the exact circumstances of his death are
not yet known and a post-mortem examination is to take place.
Tributes to the surfer have been left by the surf
school in Portugal where he had worked for the past three years.
The Algarve Surf School and Shop posted on Facebook:
"It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a colleague, friend,
brother and all round great person Cameron Munro.
"Over the past three years he has been an
absolute pleasure to work with and get to know.
"He is going to be a hole missing in our surf
camp family. We want to send all our condolences and well wishes to his family
and friends in all the parts of the world. We are thinking of everyone.
"We all love you so much, Rest In Peace
brother."
Cliff Cox, owner of the Pure Spirit Surf School in
Brighton, posted: "This weekend has been the saddest time of my life, I
have lost a son, a friend and a
warrior.
"Cam: one of the best people you could ever meet.
Humble, mellow, talented and fun. You touched people all over the world
with your mellow soul.
"I will love you and miss you forever R.I.P my
brother. X"
