BREAKING! Kogi state commissioner resigns 

- A commissioner of agriculture and natural resources in Kogi state has resigned, the state government said on Wednesday, December 7
- The commissioner, Tim Diche resigned on personal grounds
- Diche served in his capacity as a commissioner in the state for seven months


Kingsley Fanwo, the director general of media and publicity to the Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello said the state’s commissioner for agriculture and natural resources resigned on Tuesday, December 6.
Fanwo confirming the resignation said Tim Diche informed the state he was resigning on personal grounds.

He said Diche who is a pharmacist served the state in his capacity as a commissioner for seven months.
He said Diche participated fully in the governorship primaries conducted by the All Progressives Congress party in Kogi state in August 2015.
Meanwhile, the Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district said the state has been ostracized.

Melaye said this is because since the death of the junior minister of labour and productivity James Ocholi there has been continued delay for his replacement.
Melaye while raising a point of order at the plenary said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has completely ostracized his state.
