Another river of blood in Bangladesh

Just days after a river in Russia inexplicably turned as red as blood, another red river has been witnessed in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh.
According to reports in The Sun UK, the streets of Dhaka is currently flowing read with river of what has been confirmed to actually be blood.
The blood reportedly came from the over 100,000 animals killed by the residents of the city in the recent celebrations of Sallah.
The festival, which always witnesses mass killing of mainly four-legged farm animals, especially sheep, rams and cows among others, was celebrated in Dhaka.
Bangladesh has a 90.4 per cent Muslim population of around 148.6million people as at the estimates of 2011.

The celebrations in Dhaka earlier this week was followed by heavy monsoon rains on Tuesday, September 13, leading to flooding of the city’s poor drainage system. The result is streets running with blood and entrails of dead animals mixed with flood water.

Walking on the streets of Dhaka has become a challenge for residents because of the river of blood everywhere.
