Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini says that he has already been in touch with Jose Mourinho.

With the arrival of Jose Mourinho, it seems inevitable that some Manchester United players know their time is up at the club.

The playmaker has been one of several players linked with a summer move, however  the 28-year-old says that he and Mourinho have got off to a good start.

Fellaini said: “Mourinho contacted me by SMS to say welcome to United and to wish me a good Euro”.

The midfielder, who joined the Red Devils from Everton in 2013, also says that he has no plans to leave Manchester:  “As far as my future is concerned, I’m under contract with Manchester United. In addition, a great manager, Jose Mourinho, is arriving.” 

He added: “He likes to win titles and I would be honoured and proud to work with him. Now it’s up to me to show he can trust me.”

Manchester United finally appointed Jose Mourinho as the coach of the Red Devils. “The special one” signed a three-year contract with the club after Louis van Gaal’s sacking .
