Photonews: UNILAG students vacate school premises

Following a directive by the management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) that academic activities be grounded in the institution, the students have started returning home.
It has been reported earlier today, that the students were jumping over the fence to leave the school premises after it emerged that police officers had been invited to the institution to enforce the ‘vacation’ order.
Trouble reportedly started on Thursday, April 7, when some students protested the epileptic power supply and water in the institution.

Sequel to this, the institution’s management ordered the closure of immediate the institution and a subsequent sending of the students home.
