Manchester United to retain Van Gaal?
– Van Gaal may stay back at Manchester United
– The coach may be allowed to stay at Old Trafford until his contract expires
There are reports that Manchester United may extend Louis Van Gaal stay as their manager and also give him a budget of £100m to spend on transfers this summer.
Leading Netherlands newspaper Telegraaf disclosed that the 64-year-old tactician may be retained for the duration of his contract which ends at the end of the 2016/2017 season.

Although, there are speculations that the two-time Barcelona coach would be replaced by former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho this summer, fresh reports emerge that Van Gaal is poised to stay for at-least one more season.
A large section of United supporters remain convinced that Van Gaal is not the right man to take the club forward and have called for him to leave, after disappointing performances in the Premier League and European competition this term.
Meanwhile, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is adamant that rumours suggesting Jose Mourinho could replace Louis van Gaal as manager next season are not affecting his performances.
The 20-year-old said: “Mourinho? As long as the current coach is there, I don’t think about it. If Mourinho must arrive, he will arrive. But for the moment the coach is still there. Every coach has their good and bad sides. Van Gaal has given me a lot of confidence and I try hard to pay it back to him every day.”
Anthony Martial ensured Man United maintained their push for the Champions League places with a one nil win over Everton to move a point behind their local rival Man City in fourth, who they beat immediately before the international break.
